Ingredients
for 2-3person
2slices of pork loin (100g each), one egg, rice flour (or soft-wheat flour), Panko (or breadcrumbs), Japanese Worcestershire sauce, cabbage, salt, pepper, canola oil
How to make
- Cut a cabbage into fine stripes.
- To tenderize the pork, cut the gristle in the pork with a knife, stab it with a folk many times, and pound it with the back of a knife. Sprinkle some salt and pepper on the pork.
- Make batter. Beat an egg and mix with 1tbsp water, 1tbsp rice flour, 1tsp oil.
- Dust the pork with rice flour, rub it well and shake off excess.
- Dip the pork in the batter, put it in container with Panko and press it well.
- Pour oil in a pan until the depth of 2-3cm and heat it up to 160 degrees. Put the pork in the pan and leave it for a while (don’t touch). After about 2 minutes, if Panko turns light brown, turn over the pork. Leave it for two minutes.
- Turn the heat up, deep fry both sides again for 30 seconds each.
- Take the pork out of oil, leave it for 1-2 minutes to cook with the left-over heat.
- Cut the pork into 6-8 pieces. Serve it in a plate with cabbage stripes. Eat it with Japanese Worcestershire sauce.
